Gritting crews will be out from 4am covering the main roads in Milton Keynes tonight.
Road surface temperatures are expected to fall below freezing so the council is warning motorists to take extra care.
"Drive to conditions and completely clear all vehicle windows before setting off," said an MK Council spokesman.
