Ballet lessson from an expert
Budding ballet dancers were left awestruck after being taught by Milton Keynes-born former professional dancer Michael Berkin.
Michael trained at The Royal Ballet School and had an international career performing with many top companies, including Northern Ballet, Royal New Zealand Ballet and Birmingham Royal Ballet.
Youngsters aged four to 12 at Loughton Valley Arts Centre, part of The Grove Independent School, were treated to workshops based on the ballet The Sleeping Beauty.
Pupils enjoyed a class with Michael before learning a dance to music from the famous 19th century classical ballet which they performed for their parents.
